Community Involvement
Elliot Bags
We regularly support the homeless population in our local community by distributing care packages that we call “Elliot Bags”. Named after a former guest who tragically passed away; these care packages for the homeless were an idea that originated from Elliot’s mother. Elliot Bags are a small care package including essential living items like water, hygiene products, a poncho, and a blanket. Elliot’s mother especially wanted her son’s legacy to represent the love and support given to those in need. The Elliot Bag project further compliments our homeless sponsorship program, as we offer treatment scholarships to bag recipients.

Homeless Sponsorships
Each month, we provide a full scholarship of addiction treatment for two individuals from the homeless community. Addiction runs rampant among homeless communities, affecting a large portion of homeless individuals. Because access to resources that can help those affected is limited, Royal Life Centers at Spokane Heights is dedicated to helping the local homeless community get help. The lack of social support, resources, safety, and shelter, combine to create odds stacked against the homeless community. At Royal Life Centers, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to recover and change their lives, which is why we are dedicated to providing help to those in need of addiction treatment. Because We Care.
Street Adoptions
Royal Life Centers at Spokane Heights takes it upon ourselves to contribute to beautifying the communities in which we operate. We are dedicated to displaying our commitment to the community by “adopting” roadways to sponsor, in order to keep Spokane beautiful. In addition to bettering the community on an intimate level, we like to participate in improving the outer appearance of Spokane, WA.
Community Service
Guests and staff alike, volunteer for our regular cleanup activities, eliminating litter and strengthening community relationships simultaneously. Royal Life Centers at Spokane Heights is always looking for opportunities to make a difference in our local community. We give back to our city and serve others by coordinating local trash pick-ups and perform other community services in a variety of projects. Serving the community helps our guests connect with each other and the environment around them. Royal Life Centers at Spokane Heights encourages practicing spiritual principles, including service, brotherly love, and humility. We teach our guests to put self-seeking behaviors aside, in order to reveal the importance and fulfillment of helping others.
